Muñecas Llorens was founded in 1995 in Onil (Spain) by Miguel Llorens. But that was not the start of its history. It was back in 1958 when his grandfather, Antonio Juan Juan, began making artisan dolls. Ever since then, the vision has been passed down from generation to generation. The dolls are fully made in Onil with a very meticulous design and the exclusive use of top quality materials. The creation of new lines with dolls and baby dolls as well as its commitment to childhood ensure the future of its dolls, which are made “like those of yesteryear” so they will last and be passed on from generation to generation. At Muñecas Llorens, great care is taken to adapt the toys to children’s ages and needs. Baby and child development in addition to supporting the disabled has been and is very important to the company. It received the “Design for All” award in 2010, for its work to create a specially adapted doll for disabled children.
