Tyrannosaurus lived about 70 million years ago and is one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. His name means "King of reptilian tyrants". The most famous is certainly the T-Rex, which has built its reputation on its ferocity. With a gigantic body nearly 40 feet long, a massive mouth with sharp teeth of 8 inches, Tyrannosaurus gives chills. This biped with small arms could exceed 20 feet high and weigh more than 6 tons. His long, powerful tail served as a pendulum. It seems that Tyrannosaurus was above all an opportunistic scavenger more than a formidable predator, but the debate remains unresolved.
