Sea Lions belong to the Otariidae family. They are carnivorous marine mammals that are able to feed both on land and at sea. However, like their seal cousin, they spend most of their lives underwater and only go to earth to rest and to reproduce. The Sea Lions are very good swimmers, they use, unlike the seal, their four flippers to swim: the anterior ones are used for the propulsion and the later ones to direct.
