The Gnu, of the family Bovidae, is an animal that can be found in South Africa, Kenya or Tanzania. This herbivorous animal is rather sedentary and moves only when there is a lack of food. A significant seasonal migration then takes place. It is not uncommon for zebras, gazelles and elands to join the herd of Gnu during these voyages, giving rise to gatherings of more than two million heads.
