The Apatosaur is an herbivore of the family sauropods, famous for its imposing size and its long spine. Adults could measure up to 69 feet long, 26 feet high and reach a weight of up to 30 tons, making him one of the most imposing animals to have crossed the Earth! His size was his main asset in case of an attack, he could stand on his hind legs to impress his enemies, but also push back with his tail like a whip. He was nonetheless a peaceful dinosaur whose diet consisted mainly of ferns and tree leaves that he ate directly at the top.
